Deze bijzonder stijlvolle en exclusieve Rolls Royce Corniche is in meerdere opzichten uniek. Het is een van de laatste modellen uit de Corniche-serie en ook de laatst geproduceerde Rolls-Royce uit de fabriek in Crewe. Er zijn ongeveer 380 exemplaren van de Corniche (serie 5) geproduceerd, waaronder deze schitterende convertible. De kleur Silver Tempest geeft de auto nog meer allure en klasse en het staat bijzonder stijlvol met het grijze lederen interieur. De lichte wortelnoten houten dashboard en accenten maken dit geheel bijzonder mooi compleet.

Oorspronkelijk is deze Corniche geproduceerd in oktober 2000 en vervolgens naar het oosten van de Verenigde Staten geleverd. De eerste registratie van deze exclusieve premium convertible staat op februari 2001. In 2008 is de auto in Nederland gekomen en heeft sindsdien maar 1 eigenaar gehad. Deze heeft de auto zichtbaar met veel zorg en liefde onderhouden. In verband met een lichamelijke beperking, is de auto voorzien van een rembediening bij het stuur. Deze is overigens eenvoudig weer te demonteren.

Deze schitterende Rolls Royce Corniche verkeert in werkelijk bijzonder mooie conditie. We gebruiken de term ‘nieuwstaat’ niet vaak, maar deze auto komt daar wel dichtbij. Het lakwerk is nog in supergoede staat en ook het chroomwerk is nog bijna nieuw. De bijpassende grijze cabrioletkap is ook nog in nieuwstaat.
Ook het stijlvolle en zeer luxueuze interieur is nog perfect, evenals de mooie houten elementen en sierdelen. Uiteraard werkt en functioneert alles naar behoren. De uitrusting is eigenlijk te ruim om op te noemen, zo compleet en luxe is deze prachtige convertible. Uiteraard mag je dat ook wel verwachten van deze topklasse van de auto industrie.

We hebben al genoemd dat deze auto met zeer veel zorg en liefde is onderhouden. Dat is niet alleen zichtbaar aan de auto zelf, maar ook aan de diverse onderhoudsfacturen die bij deze auto aanwezig zijn. Ook het originele serviceboekje is aanwezig met de nodige stempels. In Nederland is de auto in onderhoud geweest bij een Rolls Royce specialist. Ook de diverse APK rapporten zijn nog bij de auto aanwezig.

Rijden met deze Rolls Royce Corniche is een werkelijk bijzonder aangename belevenis. De auto beweegt zich voort. Het comfortabele veersysteem en de soeplesse waarmee deze auto rijdt en stuurt is fenomenaal. De diverse comfortsystemen en de zeer luxueuze zetels zorgen voor een heerlijk ontspannen gevoel tijdens het rijden. Met uiteraard zicht op de prachtige Flying Lady aan de voorzijde van de auto.
