I bought this Cayman S a few months ago with the idea to have a fun car next to my car that I use to drive with my kids.
In practice I see that this doesn't really work and that the Cayman just sits in the garage instead of me enjoying it.
Therefore I decided to buy a 997 that will allow me to have the kids with me in the car and enjoy, hence the sell.
About the car:
Originally delivered in Italy, in 2016 came to Germany, I bought it from the 3rd owner, previous owner had it from 2016 until 2024.
Until it came to Germany it was serviced in porsche by the first owner, after it came to Germany it was serviced by individual garages that specialise in Porsches.
Mileage is documented and receiptsare available.
Tires are from 2021 but were almost not driven, so like new, and breaks are new.
The car drives perfectly, doesn't smoke and no oil use.
Interior is in remarkable condition, really beautiful, almost no wear signs, and the silver with blue combination is the best in my opinion, in some angles the cayman looks like the carrera GT in this colour.
It has really nice options as well, Xenon, elcantara headliner, PSM and more...
After I bought it, I took it to a friend of mine which is a porsche specialist to do an oil change and change the switch because the key was not going out easily, and asked him to check the cylinder walls to see what is the state and unfortunately he found slight scratches on cylinders 6 and 4.
He mentioned that probably 80% of the cayman S's with this engine has it, and that it can be driven like this for very long, but I'm honest and now that I know this I mention it and price it accordingly, I bought it for much more, because I thought everything was perfect with the car and really liked it, it really drives better than other caymans I've inspected, all the joints and suspension system are like new, no strange noises etc, so the scratches are not noticeable in any aspect.
Also, its the original paint, to my knowledge was never repainted, ive checked the thickness of the paint, and all original.
No negotiations about the price, this is the cheapest manual Cayman S available and probably one of the nicest.
If you are seriously interested, a test drive is possible, but ill be doing the driving.
Export can be arranged if desired, I have experience with the process.
